Looking back on Christopher Bailey’s work for Burberry Prorsum Menswear, I realize how hard it is to think of any collection that didn’t take my breath away. He reinvented and modernised Burberry without losing the traditions.
This S/S Bailey has done it again. What you see above is another one of Christopher Bailey’s Spectacular outings.
Unlike the conventional and very British Burberry that we know, this collection is very loud and full of energy. Bailey’s vision of the Vulnerable, inexperienced boy becoming a Strapping Masculine man has translated flawlessly on the catwalk.
Mr Bailey, if you’re reading this, I love every single look from this collection. There is nothing I would not do for one of the leather jackets, preferably the studded number.
