Beloved Hi-tops

As you may or may not know, I love my hi-top trainers.
I think they are sisters to the Boots, a yonger, more casual sister :)

Boots are kind of all over the place now, with 'Edgy Fashionista' wannabes raiding All Saints and Vivienne Westwood for boots, and it just is not as fashion forward as it used to be. The only acceptable boots now are Dr Martens. Worn with the right gear of course.

So I think that hi-top trainers are the new boots.
I wasn't sure about this but last month's Elle Magazine Confirmed.

Lanvin Menswear s/s 2010

Since Men's Fashion Week s/s 10 started, I been counting down the minutes for Lanvin's Menswear show, and yesterday I finally recieved an E-mail that the pictures are online.

Looking at the pictures, the clothes shouted action, movement, pressure to the point that some of the hems of the garments were left undone.
The other look was the silhouette of the male body surrounded with the feminine translucent fabrics peeking through a waist-hugging blazer. This is where tatty meets conservative.

Alber Elbaz stated that “Togetherness is really strong in this collection”, talking about Lanvin’s Womenswear and Menswear, hence the use of the neck pieces and the jewelry in this collection.
